Feelings we don't have words for
This is a throwback to when I was a teenager, but recently thought of this youtube channel I found around when I was 17. It has kind of a edgy, lost, nihilistic sense to it (LOL don’t judge 17 year old me).
The premise is that there are a lot of feelings that many of us share that we don’t have a shared language or words for but exist and we all feel. It’s a bit of a nod at human connection that exists but isn’t popularized, a nearly lost esoteric language that we all share but need to discover through experience.
It’s by a midwestern artist named John Koenig, and there’s also a NYT best selling book. Would recommend at least checking out the youtube channel. The videos are well produced and communicate ideas I haven’t found elsewhere.
